1. Introduction

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Imago Dei Wellness via our website: https://www.imagodeiwellness.co.za

This policy is designed to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) of South Africa.

2. General Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be returned within the applicable timeframes below
  • The product must be unused and in its original condition
  • The product must be in its original packaging with all seals intact (where applicable)
  • Proof of purchase is required

We reserve the right to inspect returned products before approving a refund or exchange.

3. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

In accordance with Section 44 of the CPA:

  • You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the product without providing a reason
  • You must notify us in writing within this period

Conditions:

  • The product must be unused and in original packaging
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the product
  • A reasonable handling/restocking fee may apply

Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after we receive the returned product.

4. Defective or Faulty Products (6-Month Warranty)

Under Section 56 of the CPA:

If a product is defective, unsafe, or not of good quality, you may return it within 6 months of delivery.

You are entitled to choose one of the following remedies:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

We will cover the cost of return shipping for defective items.

5. Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If you receive:

  • The wrong product, or
  • A product damaged during delivery

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will arrange:

  • Collection of the product, and
  • Replacement or full refund at no additional cost

6. Non-Returnable Items

Due to health and safety regulations, the following items may not be returned unless defective:

  • Opened or used supplement products
  • Products with broken seals
  • Perishable or consumable items that have been opened

7. Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Please note:

  • Refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product

8. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

  • Defective, or
  • Incorrectly supplied
