1. Introduction
This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Imago Dei Wellness via our website: https://www.imagodeiwellness.co.za
This policy is designed to comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) of South Africa.
2. General Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return:
- The product must be returned within the applicable timeframes below
- The product must be unused and in its original condition
- The product must be in its original packaging with all seals intact (where applicable)
- Proof of purchase is required
We reserve the right to inspect returned products before approving a refund or exchange.
3. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)
In accordance with Section 44 of the CPA:
- You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the product without providing a reason
- You must notify us in writing within this period
Conditions:
- The product must be unused and in original packaging
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the product
- A reasonable handling/restocking fee may apply
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after we receive the returned product.
4. Defective or Faulty Products (6-Month Warranty)
Under Section 56 of the CPA:
If a product is defective, unsafe, or not of good quality, you may return it within 6 months of delivery.
You are entitled to choose one of the following remedies:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
We will cover the cost of return shipping for defective items.
5. Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If you receive:
- The wrong product, or
- A product damaged during delivery
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will arrange:
- Collection of the product, and
- Replacement or full refund at no additional cost
6. Non-Returnable Items
Due to health and safety regulations, the following items may not be returned unless defective:
- Opened or used supplement products
- Products with broken seals
- Perishable or consumable items that have been opened
7. Refunds
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Please note:
- Refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product
8. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are:
- Defective, or
- Incorrectly supplied
